We are recruiting for a Quality Control Manager to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The Quality Control Manager will have a strong leadership background and will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing quality control systems ensuring that products/services meet the required standards. The successful candidate will be leading a team of Quality Control Engineers overall reducing defects and driving continuous improvement.
As the Quality Control Manager you will be required to:
- Develop and implement Quality Control policies, procedures and standards
- Manage and train Quality Control staff
- Encourage teamwork and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Guide and lead the Quality Control team
- Carry out audits, analyse data and collaborate with production teams
- Resolve quality issues and implement process changes
- Carry out regular inspections and audits of products, processes and services
- Analyse Quality data, identify trends and recommend corrective actions
- Embed improvement into all process activities
- Experience monitoring foundry processes (core making, moulding, melting, pouring, finishing) to identify and address Quality issues
Requirements:
- Previous leadership experience in a Foundry/Castings environment
- Knowledge of production processes & foundry capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Embed improvement into process activities
- Experienced in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and service quality
