Our client is expanding due to a very busy order book. They produce Iron Castings for various industries and are recruiting for the following:
Schedule & Assignment
- Day Shift – 6:00 am – 4:00 pm / 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Overtime available (Weekdays/Weekends)
- Duration of assignment – TEMP TO PERM (12‑week trial period)
Main Duties
- Monitoring furnace operations to make sure that temperatures are within safe limits and adjusting controls as needed
- Monitoring the quality of raw materials entering the furnace to ensure they meet standards for chemical composition and physical properties such as density and particle size distribution
- Maintaining records of all heating cycles performed
- Performing regular maintenance on furnaces
- Observing the furnace during operation to ensure that it is operating properly and safely
