The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with proven leadership skills to work for an established manufacturing business based in the Hereford area. The Production Supervisor will lead the teams ensuring that any customer schedules are met, working with the teams to complete production schedules also identifying areas of improvement using Lean techniques.
The Production Supervisor will be required to:
- Organise and prioritise works loads for the team
- Ensure the department meets deadlines
- Responsible for the day to day running of the department
- Carry out daily morning briefs updating managers
- Managing the team including absence and performance
- Motivating the team to reach deadlines and ensuring training is given where needed
- Ensuring materials are issued and reporting on any material/stock issues
- Ensuring compliance with all health & safety requirements
Requirements:
- Experience as a team leader/supervisor managing a team
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of analysing production schedules and organising workload for the team
- Adjusting schedules as needed and resolving any issues
- Experience working to production deadlines
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- A good understanding of health & safety (IOSH)
- Able to resolve quality issues
- Experienced working with a variety of materials
- Experience working to ISO9001
