Maintenance Engineer - Foundry WEEKEND SHIFT - FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 06.00 AM - 06.00 PM We have two vacancies * Mechanical Fitter * Maintenance Electrician Our client have a need for 2 experienced Maintenance Engineers ideally someone who is familiar with equipment and machinery that is relevant to the foundry industry Location: Lye Duration: Permanent after trial period * Responsibilities * To ensure foundry plant and ancillary equipment is always operated efficiently. * Undertake fault diagnosis and repair in a heavy engineering foundry environment. * Work on own and as part of a team carrying out routine PPM, reactive and minor repair works as assigned by the Engineering Manager Workflow team ensuring all deliverable KPI targets are met or exceeded. * Experienced in installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of mechanical systems, equipment and components. * Installation, repair and maintenance of foundry machinery and components including supporting services; mechanical transmissions, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment as required. * Provide detailed inspection, fault finding or troubleshooting and diagnosis of operational problems in foundry plant and mechanical equipment and promote ideas to optimise productivity and manufacturing output. * Contribute to business improvements initiative and help identify root cause of persistent downtime and recommend plans to improve and optimise plant performance. * Maintain and repair mechanical plant machinery and equipment to approved operating standards * Repair/replacement of worn/faulty components or equipment and modifications * Ensure engineering standards for the company are maintained Our client have an immediate need and are looking for someone who is looking for a long term permanent role Please submit an up to date CV for consideration
