We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The Maintenance Engineer will work to ensure that equipment is running reliably and maintaining the equipment across two plants also carrying out fault diagnosis where required.
As the Maintenance Engineer you will be required to:
- Ensure equipment is operated efficiently
- Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs in a heavy engineering environment
- Maintain reliability
- Installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of equipment and mechanical systems
- Diagnosis and repair of equipment
- Assist with work scheduling, work instructions and job plans
- Prepare reports/checklists
Requirements:
- Experience in mechanical maintenance
- Experienced in diagnosis and repair of equipment
- Experience in heavy Engineering environments
- Able to work as part of a team carrying out PPM or alone
- Experience in installation and inspections of mechanical equipment
- Strong manufacturing/automotive or foundry experience
