Junior Graphic Designer We are now recruiting for a Junior Graphic Design Engineer to join an established manufacturing business on a permanent basis, you will be working as part of busy team producing designs and concepts whilst also supporting the marketing team reporting into a Graphic designer and Marketing Manager. As the business requires, with normal day being 09.00 to 17.00 DUTIES: Working with the Senior Graphic Designer to create a full range of marketing material along with updating existing material where required. Print Brochures and literature Product instructions Product order forms Exhibition graphics Point of Sale material Internal documentation Stationery Department documentation layout Promotional handouts Digital Images for web pages Monthly newsletter Editing of product images, clipping & pathing Artwork for email marketing Social media assets Interactive media – displays, interactive PDF brochures Animation and video editing would be desirable Branded presentations Supporting customers with artwork Dual branded material Working with Product Specialists, Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager to create key brand and product messages to be used across material and campaigns. Proof reading and providing final sign off for all branded material to be released to consumers and customers Support the department with wider activities, such as exhibition set up and attendance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Always observe the business code of conduct Perform role in accordance with all relevant quality standards and adhere to all relevant processes / policies within the GMS. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety / Environmental and Welfare requirements. Ensure general housekeeping requirements are adhered to. A flexible approach to duties must be taken Other duties may be necessary as and when required to fulfil business needs The job holder will have to be willing to transfer into other areas within the business The job holder will be involved in the cross training of other Associates The job holder should be self-motivated and able to work in a demanding team environment REQUIREMENTS: Education & Qualifications: A Graphic Design orientated degree along with a portfolio of work Job Specific Training: A strong portfolio of previous work Previous experience working in an agency or for an established brand Experience: * A great eye for detail, ensuring branding is always consistent and content is proofed * A creative thinker across a broad spectrum of projects * Capacity to work at speed and under pressure * Copywriting * Use of email marketing software Equipment Skills: * Adobe Package: * In-Design * Photoshop * Illustrator * MS Office * Adobe Package: * Premiere * After Effects
