We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Internal Account Manager to join our team and drive the growth of our client relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing existing customer accounts and identifying new opportunities to win new business. You will be focussed on building customer relationships, increasing sales and improving retention.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, maintaining regular contact to build strong relationships and maximise sales opportunities.
- Carry out proactive account management calls and quarterly account reviews.
- Identify and re-engage down-trading and dormant accounts to recover lost business.
- Monitor customer purchasing patterns and product trends to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Develop new business opportunities within existing industries and customer sectors.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally from initial contact through to order completion.
- Prepare and manage quotation requests, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
- Oversee customer projects from enquiry through to completion, providing regular updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
