Salary: £35k basic depending upon knowledge and experience OTE £40-45k

Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 am – 5.30 pm (occasional Saturdays, once every 2-3 months)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lettings Manager to oversee the lettings department and manage client relationships within our property portfolio, focusing on attracting new business. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and experience in sales. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our lettings division.

Responsibilities

  • Business development, increasing the portfolio and maximising income strategies
  • Manage the end-to-end lettings process
  • Liaise effectively with landlords, tenants, and external agencies to facilitate smooth communication
  • Oversee property inspections, maintenance schedules, and compliance with legal requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of all lettings transactions and client interactions using organisational software
  • Lead and motivate a team of lettings agents, providing training and support as needed
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently, including drafting contracts and processing documentation

Experience

  • MARLA / Property related qualifications highly desirable
  • Proven administrative experience within property management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Previous experience managing a team or supervising staff
  • Familiarity with property management software and CRM systems is preferred
