Location: Lye

Hours: 05:00 am – 01:00 pm, with two hours overtime daily; Saturdays available

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Job Description:

Our client in Lye has recently expanded and is seeking hardworking individuals to join their team. The role involves:

1. Setting up and configuring moulding equipment to produce accurate sand moulds and cores.
2. Mixing sand and binder materials to create optimal mould compositions.
3. Inspecting moulds for quality and accuracy before they are used in metal casting processes.
4. Using hand tools and machinery to shape and finish moulds according to specifications.
5. Maintaining a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols.
6. Collaborating with team members to resolve production issues and enhance mould quality.
7. Documenting and reporting production metrics and any anomalies in the moulding process.
8. Continuously learning and applying best practices for mould-making and materials handling.

Note: The work is fast-paced and may involve heavy lifting due to the nature of manufacturing processes.
