We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a skilled Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems across the site and supporting ongoing improvements within the business. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding promptly to any breakdowns
  • Diagnose faults, analyse root cause issues and implement any corrective actions
  • Support and complete TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) checks on schedule
  • Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety procedures
  • Overhaul, repair, and refurbish components and equipment in the workshop
  • Assist with project work, equipment installations and improvements
  • Support and mentor apprentices
  • Communicate with all teams ensuring a smooth handover

Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3)
  • Experience in an industrial electrical maintenance role
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics effectively
  • Strong fault finding skills
  • Able to work independently if needed
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience working with low voltage control systems and three phase circuits
