Hours: £13.93 per hour, plus shift allowance. 6.00 am - 2pm five days a week. 10.00 am to 6.30 pm Mon- Thurs + Fri 10 - 4pm. Above are the rotating shifts. 37.5 hours per week plus 2.5 hours overtime = 40 hours.

Job Summary: Engineering cover of all electrical systems plus other engineering support where required.

Duties:

  • Working with maintenance management and area managers to increase the uptime of equipment across the site.
  • Equipment includes forging presses, hammers, furnaces, CNC lathes, millers and borers, manual lathes and borers.
  • Maintenance of equipment both preventive and reactive.
  • Timely response to all reactive breakdowns.
  • Flexibility to work around production requirements.
  • Improvement projects.
  • Installation and upkeep of site electrical services.

Skills:

  • Working in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Machine availability to production.
  • Increasing the uptime of and future-proofing ageing equipment as well as keeping new equipment in good condition.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical principles required.
  • C&G / apprentice trained.
  • Worked in industrial businesses.
