Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for HSE activities across multiple UK business sites while promoting a positive H&S culture.
- Managing the environmental management systems for ISO 14001 including third party external audits, such as preparation of relevant HSE documents.
- Legislative compliance, ensuring that all HSE aspects of the business are conducted in accordance with all relevant statutory requirements and Codes of Practice.
- Advise on matters relating to HSE at work including the obligations and responsibilities of managers and employees; and provide comprehensive and practical advice to managers on best practice.
- Undertake HSE planning, including the setting of goals, agreeing priorities, and establishing adequate systems for performance management.
