My well established client is looking to recruit a Compliance Engineer to ensure that products and processes comply with the customer and legal requirements and expectations by routinely auditing performance, monitoring and coaching. To uphold the businesses Quality Management Systems.

Salary: £35k per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week, 8am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.

Essential experience:

  • Knowledge of AS9100 and or ISO9001 is essential
  • Background in quality essential
  • Experience in quality tools such as 8D, PPS, PFMEA & APQP essential
  • Able to carry out quality audits advantageous (training can be provided)
  • Forging or machining background a distinct advantage
  • Driving Licence Essential
  • Good IT Skills including Word, Excel, Infor & Internet

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure AS9100 and ISO9001 is maintained
  • Manage problem solving workshops
  • Working with other departments to help develop and improve process and product
  • Involvement with external customer and national accredited audits
  • Routinely audit existing internal processes for compliance
  • Work with operators to ensure compliance of product
  • Record any process or product deviations and act upon them
  • Part of the quality team and deputise for QM when required
  • Support the quality team on other Internal matters
  • Ensure conformance and reduce non-compliance
  • Working with operations and engineering to develop and improve reliable processes
