Our client is part of one of the UK's biggest engineering companies. Due to new orders and new investment, they would like to recruit the following:
Role: Low Pressure Die Caster
Hours: 05.45 am - 14.45 pm Monday to Thursday
Rate: £15.00 per hour plus overtime
Duration: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks
Location: Wednesbury
Duties:
- Melt Metal Alloy in Furnace and Bring to Casting Temperature
- Transfer Molten Metal to Holding Furnace Below die
- Force Molten Metal Through Riser Tube into die by Applying Low Pressure
- Let Metal Solidify Under Constant Pressure in Die Cavity
- Release Pressure and Recycle Remaining Molten Metal
- Cool die for Easy Casting Removal
Our client is ideally looking for candidates with casting experience. The role requires candidates to be physically fit as some of the work can be quite awkward. The role will require candidates to be flexible with their working hours as the business is very busy and requires candidates to have a can-do attitude.
