Hours: Part-time 25 hours per week; full time could be negotiated Mon-Thurs 9 to 5.30 Fri 9 to 5. No Remote Working. Salary will be competitive depending on experience, c£28-36k (pro rata for part time) depending upon knowledge and experience.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll for approximately 80 clients, comprising both weekly and monthly payrolls. This role is a doer not an overseer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management and control of the payroll department
- Review of payrolls prepared by other staff
- Preparation of more complex payrolls
- Preparation and/or review of CIS submissions
- Assist clients with any payroll related queries
- Liaise with HMRC on payroll related queries
- Ensure client pension obligations are complied with
