Evolve IT Recruitment is looking for 2 experienced ServiceNow Designers to work on a major telecoms programme on an initial 6-month contract. The role is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for the design, development, enhancement and administration of ServiceNow solutions across a large-scale enterprise environment. You'll work closely with stakeholders to deliver platform improvements, integrations and new module implementations whilst following ServiceNow best practice.
You will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Implementing ServiceNow Modules, administration, improvement and support of latest ServiceNow platform.
- Deliver all aspects of Platform Administration, Design, Development and implementation of ServiceNow.
- Complete minor and major enhancements requests to ServiceNow instances, including changes to the user interface, system properties, foundation data, and existing workflows.
- Help facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules.
- Identify areas for improvement.
- Perform upgrade administration to ensure leverage of latest releases.
Essential Skills:
- Extensive experience and deep functional knowledge of ServiceNow.
- Experience of glide objects (GlideRecords, GlideSystem, GlideAggregate, GlideAjax).
- System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP.
- ITIL concepts and IT Service Management practices (ITIL v3 certification a plus).
- Understanding of Agile based approach to software development (SCRUM experience a plus).
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in creation or modification of the relevant CSM, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, IRM, toolset components.
- Telecoms industry experience.
- Consultative and analytical approach.
- Experience implementing ITSM tools; such as Incident Management, Service Request Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management.
