Service Now Architect Contractor - Telecoms Domain - London (Hybrid) - Outside IR35 - 3 months
Evolve IT Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Service Now Architect to support a major telecoms transformation programme within one of the UK's leading telecommunications organisations.
This is a senior technical role focused on enterprise platform architecture, governance and solution delivery across a large-scale Service Now estate.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers and programme teams to define platform strategy, oversee delivery and ensure the Service Now platform continues to evolve in line with business objectives.
The role offers a fantastic opportunity to influence a complex enterprise environment while remaining close to the technical architecture, integrations and platform roadmap.
You will be expected to perform the following duties
- Serve as the technical authority for Service Now architecture, standards and best practice.
- Define and drive platform strategy, governance and architecture roadmaps.
- Lead architecture reviews, design workshops and solution governance activities.
- Design and implement Service Now solutions across multiple modules.
- Ensure platform scalability, security, performance and resilience.
- Define and oversee integrations with enterprise platforms and third-party applications.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business objectives.
- Mentor Service Now developers and administrators.
- Identify enhancement opportunities and drive continual platform improvement.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards.
Essential Skills
- Strong Service Now architecture experience within large enterprise environments.
- Extensive experience with ITSM and at least two additional modules such as ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, GRC or Sec Ops.
- Expertise in Service Now integrations including REST, SOAP, APIs and MID Servers.
- Strong understanding of CMDB, Discovery and Service Now data models.
- Experience with Java Script, Glide and Flow Designer.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Telecoms industry experience.
- Strong understanding of ITIL and service management best practice.
Desirable Skills
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or working towards certification.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
- Exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure or GCP.
