Requirements:

  • Experience managing and technically leading a software engineering team.
  • Strong soft skills to interact with clients, demonstrating credibility in technology and overall delivery.

  • Ability to implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and efficient release management strategies.

  • Expertise in modern engineering standards such as TDD, contract testing, and secure coding, as well as architectural patterns like event-driven architecture and platform migration.
  • Experience providing technical subject matter expertise to shape bids and client proposals, with the ability to present proposed approaches and discuss technical implementation with prospective clients during the sales process.
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK full-time without restrictions and be qualified for SC clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a dynamic digital and data team alongside product, design, and other cross-disciplinary experts to bring ideas to life through innovative software solutions.
  • Work on a broad variety of projects and tech stacks for clients across seven sectors; no project is ever the same.
  • Advocate for using the right technology for the right task, while working with programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and C#.
  • Utilise frameworks like Vue, Angular, React, Node, Next, Spring, Spring Boot, and .NET/ASP.NET.
  • Engage with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure, and implement CI/CD practices with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
  • Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Bicep.
  • Ensure pragmatic and safe usage of AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
