About Us
Evolved-Ideas are a UK-headquartered software development partner working across Europe, helping ambitious organisations design, build, and scale digital platforms that truly support their business goals. With decades of experience developing mobile apps, web platforms, APIs, and AI-driven systems for organisations that understand technology is a strategic advantage - not a cost centre. We have delivery teams across the UK, Spain, and Ukraine. As we continue to grow our UK and European presence, we are expanding our team and are looking for a driven Product Owner to help shape and deliver high-impact solutions. The customer is at the heart of everything we do, meaning clear and concise communication, managing expectations, and delivering quality solutions is an essential part of this role.
The Role
We are looking for a confident, adaptable, and commercially minded Product Owner who can work effectively across different customers, sectors, and delivery contexts. This is a client-facing role for someone who can quickly understand a customer’s business, lead conversations with credibility, and move beyond simply capturing requirements to constructively challenge assumptions, shape thinking and put forward practical solutions. You will be comfortable owning the room in workshops and meetings, bringing together customer needs, business objectives and delivery realities to help define the right outcome.
What You will Do/Key responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to understand business goals, pain points, processes, and priorities
- Translate customer needs into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and other delivery-ready artefacts
- Manage and refine the backlog, ensuring priorities reflect customer value, delivery feasibility, and commercial outcomes
- Challenge requirements in a constructive and credible way, asking the right questions to uncover root causes, gaps, risks, and better options
- Work with customers, delivery teams, architects, and developers to shape practical, high-value solutions rather than simply documenting requests
- Facilitate discussions that bring clarity, alignment, and momentum, especially where there are competing views or ambiguity
- Operate effectively across multiple projects, sectors, or problem spaces, adapting quickly to new business domains and delivery contexts
- Support business case development, solution definition, estimation, and decision-making throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams during implementation to clarify requirements, unblock decisions, and maintain focus on the intended outcome
- Build trusted customer relationships and identify opportunities to improve outcomes, add value, and strengthen the overall engagement
What Success Looks Like
- Customers see you as a trusted adviser, not just a note taker
- Workshops are well run, focused and productive, with clear outcomes and agreed next steps
- Requirements are clear, actionable, and solution-oriented, enabling teams to deliver with confidence
- You can move between different contexts quickly and still add value from the outset.
- You balance customer expectations, business priorities, and delivery constraints with sound judgement
- You bring ideas, options, and recommendations to the table, helping customers make better decisions
What You Bring
- Strong experience in a Product Owner role within software delivery, consulting, or professional services
- Proven ability to work in ambiguous environments and get up to speed quickly in new domains
- Excellent workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, and client-facing communication skills
- Confidence to challenge constructively, influence decisions, and handle difficult conversations professionally
- Experience shaping solutions with technical and non-technical stakeholders, balancing business needs with practical delivery
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery, backlog management, prioritisation and iterative solution development
- Ability to analyse processes, identify improvement opportunities, and turn insight into action.
- Commercial awareness and a pragmatic mindset, with a focus on delivering value rather than producing documentation for its own sake
- Strong written skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured documentation when needed
- A self-starting approach, strong judgement, and the presence to lead conversations with confidence
To apply for this vacancy you will need to have the right to work in the UK. The role can only be performed remotely within the UK. We are unable to hire candidates who require relocation or visa sponsorship.
