Gibraltar Nursing Home in Monmouth is a home with a strong sense of community. The home has four floors and supports 96 residents (who we fondly call family members), and includes a close care village of 36 houses and apartments for people wanting independent living.

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and tenacious person who can deliver outstanding customer service.

Hours

Average 14.5-hour position. Schedule follows a rolling two‑week pattern and specific working times can be discussed during the interview:

  • Week 1: Saturday, Sunday and Thursday
  • Week 2: Monday and Tuesday

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming visitors
  • Answering a busy reception phone system in a friendly and professional manner
  • Managing inbox
  • Post management
  • Keeping database up to date
  • Liaising with relatives – being their first point of contact
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Events and training day organising
  • Stock taking
  • Other administration duties as required by the Home Manager
