Our client based in Holmewood, Chesterfield are seeking Order Pickers to help grow its rapidly expanding team. In the role you will be moving, handballing and order picking company goods around the warehouse in a cold storage environment. This has ongoing regular work with onsite parking, canteen and a temporary to permanent placement after 14 weeks.
Shifts: You will be working 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm, 10:00pm - 6:00am, 6am - 6pm (3 on 3 off, 12 hours), 6pm - 6am (3 on 4 off, 12 hours). Variety of shifts to suit you.
Pay: £8.32 per hour for all shifts. You will receive 28 days holiday, pension scheme, weekly pay, 24-hour support from your employer, and a generous attendance bonus after the qualifying period. Training and support will be provided within the role.
Warehouse Operative duties will include:
- Moving and handballing company goods
- Loading and unloading
- Order picking / packing in a cold storage environment
- Tidying up and other general warehouse duties
To be a successful Warehouse Operative you will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience within order picking/warehouse
- Ability to handle working in a cold storage environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team but be self-motivated and independent at times
- Attention to detail
