Our client based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire is the largest independent manufacturer. They are currently seeking MIG Welders to add to their expanding growing team. In the role you will be welding company products to a high standard.

The working hours are based on a regular day shift: 7am - 6pm between Monday to Friday, 4 days a week. The pay rate varies between £8.30 and £10 per hour, depending on experience.

The candidate will attend a weld test to assess the skills prior to the start date. You will receive 28 days holiday, pension scheme, weekly pay, 24-hour support from your employer, generous attendance bonus after the qualifying period, and training and support within the role.

MIG Welder duties will include:

  • Reading, and working from drawings.
  • Understand specification sheets.
  • Marking out.
  • Adherence to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping standards in own area.

To be a successful candidate you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previously worked in the welding industry.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Have the relevant welding documents.
