SKF Lubrication Lifetime Solutions (LLS) is strengthening its service capability and is looking for a Service Engineer – Automatic Lubrication Systems to support the installation, commissioning, servicing, and lifecycle support of engineered lubrication solutions across the UK. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on delivering high-quality execution at OEM, distributor, and end-user sites. The Service Engineer plays a key role in supporting SKF’s strategy to move further up the value chain through solutions, services, and circular economy offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and support Automatic Lubrication Systems (ALS) across OEM and end-user environments
  • Support first-of-kind and strategic installations, ensuring SKF quality and safety standards are met
  • Provide on-site technical troubleshooting and early-life system support
  • Independently deliver smaller engineered lubrication installations
  • Provide technical supervision and quality assurance for larger projects delivered via distributors or approved third-party installers
  • Deliver structured technical training to customers, OEMs, distributors, and installer partners
  • Carry out pump refurbishment and overhaul activities
  • Install, commission, and service RecondOil and circular economy solutions
  • Support local assembly builds, testing, and pre-delivery validation activities

What we expect you to have

  • Hands-on experience with Automatic Lubrication Systems or similar mechanical / fluid systems
  • Strong installation, commissioning, and fault-finding capability
  • Practical mechanical background with a strong problem-solving mindset
  • Confident working independently at customer sites
  • Customer-focused with strong communication skills

Would be an asset:

  • Experience working in OEM or heavy industrial environments
  • Experience supporting or supervising distributor or third-party installer networks
  • Exposure to refurbishment, service, or lifecycle support activities
  • Interest in sustainability, oil conditioning, or circular economy technologies
