Our client is an award-winning communications company looking for an IT Support Contractor in Sutton-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire to provide specialist support to all Group users ensuring that all functions are carried out legally and in accordance with best practice.

Responsibilities

  • To provide first and second line ‘help desk’ user support for designated applications software.
  • To provide first and second line hardware support for desktop and server applications.
  • To provide remote support for mobile staff, home users and other Group sites.
  • To maintain the telephone system.
  • To be the contact point for the company mobiles – arranging upgrades, repairs and new equipment.
  • To provide technical knowledge for IT and electronic systems that aid the production equipment including the shop floor data collection systems.
  • Responsible for server backups and media.
  • To carry out the role of system administration for all software packages in use.
  • Undertake to comply with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and its associated policies.
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Educated to A level or equivalent (computing or business).
  • Qualified in PC windows admin/MS office support.
  • Established business background.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Database skills an advantage.

This is a 6-month contract with a package including an attractive salary of £24,000. Hours of work - 8:30-17:00 and 30 mins for lunch. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with excellent prospects and development.
