Description
The SHEQ Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of Evolution Security's SHEQ management systems. Working closely with operational teams and management, you will help ensure compliance, promote a positive safety culture, and drive continuous improvement across the business. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the administration and maintenance of the company's health and safety management system.
- Support the completion, review and distribution of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
- Coordinate accident, incident and near-miss reporting, tracking and investigations.
- Maintain SHEQ records, registers and compliance documentation.
- Monitor and track corrective actions arising from audits, inspections and incidents.
- Support toolbox talks, safety briefings and employee communications.
- Coordinate SHEQ documentation, policies, procedures and training records.
- Assist with external audits and accreditation activities, including ISO standards.
- Monitor and track employee training requirements and certifications.
- Produce SHEQ reports, statistics and KPI data for management review.
- Assist with the completion of client pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), tender SHEQ submissions and supply chain accreditation questionnaires (e.g. Achilles UVDB, SafeContractor, Constructionline, CHAS).
- Support the onboarding of new subcontractors and suppliers, including collection and verification of SHEQ documentation, insurances and competence evidence.
- Maintain the group accreditation and certification register, tracking expiry and renewal dates for ISO certifications, NSI/BAFE/SSAIB approvals, supply chain accreditations, insurances and licences, and flagging renewals in good time.
- Provide administrative support to the SHEQ team across the group’s UK and international territories as required.
Requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely or an equivalent health and safety qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 management systems and audit processes.
- Experience of PQQs, tender submissions or supply chain accreditation schemes.
- Experience within the fire and security, electrical, construction or engineering sectors.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally to regional offices and sites.
- Previous experience in a SHEQ, Health & Safety, Compliance or Administrative role.
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
