Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our growing team.

In this role, you will take ownership of the successful delivery of security system installations across a variety of customer sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating installation projects from order receipt through to completion.

This is a highly autonomous position that requires strong organisational skills, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to adapt to changing business priorities and project demands.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned projects from planning through to installation, commissioning, and final handover.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring all milestones and customer commitments are achieved.
  • Review project specifications, contracts, and technical requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and technical stakeholders to confirm system design, resolve queries, and ensure solutions meet operational requirements.
  • Coordinate equipment, resources, and installation activities to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Monitor project performance, risks, costs, and profitability, escalating issues and implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Lead and support Installation Engineers and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers and key stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and timelines.
  • Organise customer training where required and oversee commissioning, testing, and project completion activities.
  • Ensure all project documentation, certifications, and handover packs are completed accurately and provided to the client.
  • Support effective project invoicing by maintaining accurate records and providing timely project updates.
  • Ensure full compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety regulations, environmental requirements, and industry best practices
  • Adhere to GDPR, ISO 27001, and all company information security policies, promoting compliance across project teams.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ Project Management experience with a similar cross section of jobs in quantity and values.
  • Strong working knowledge of Electronic Security systems installation
  • Training in, or a good awareness of, standard forms of contract such as NEC3/4, JCT etc.
  • Competent to generate and understand a program of works with Microsoft Project or similar.
  • Microsoft 365 suite, Visio, Job costing packages.
