We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic First Aid and Health & Safety Trainer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver a range of courses, including First Aid, Health & Safety, Manual Handling, Fire Marshal, and Safeguarding. This role requires a professional with a qualified teaching background who is flexible and willing to travel to various training locations. You will travel with work and you maybe required to travel anywhere around the UK, although we will try and keep work within 90-mins (100miles) of our offices. Role subject to a six-month probationary period.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality training courses in First Aid, Health & Safety, Manual Handling, Fire Marshal, and Safeguarding.
• Develop and update training materials to ensure content is current, relevant, and engaging.
• Conduct assessments to measure participants\' understanding and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and participant progress.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Adapt training methods to meet the diverse needs of participants.
• Ensure all training equipment and materials are prepared and maintained.
• Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 3 Award in Education and Training, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in delivering First Aid, Manual Handling, and Fire Marshal.
• Ofqual accredited certificates in First Aid at Work.
• Ofqual accredited certificates in either; Health & Safety, Manual Handling, Fire Marshal, and Safeguarding training.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to assess and evaluate learner performance.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Flexibility to travel to various training locations as required.
