Due to increased demand on the Data Exploitation programme, we are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support the delivery of Pillar 2 Data Exploitation. This is a hands-on role working within an established data engineering framework, primarily focused on Talend ETL pipelines and Oracle RDS environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data engineering artefacts, including:
- Talend ETL jobs
- Oracle SQL & DDL
- GitLab CI/CD pipeline enhancements
- Investigate and resolve defects identified during test phases
- Conduct component testing, including test data creation
- Create and execute automated test packs
- Support QA teams during integration and system testing
- Assist in performance testing and optimisation activities
