EVO is seeking an experienced eDiscovery professional to support one of our high-profile UK legal sector clients. This ad-hoc freelance role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex, high-value matters by providing hands-on technical and operational expertise across the eDiscovery lifecycle.
The successful candidate will work alongside the client's project teams, advising on best practices for data handling, applying technical solutions to meet case requirements, and ensuring smooth, efficient delivery of services from initial scoping through to disclosure. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to engage in varied, challenging work without a full-time commitment.
What You'll Do- Service Delivery
- Advise and assist on data identification, scoping, and collection.
- Perform data preservation and forensic acquisition where required.
- Manage and monitor processing workflows, including quality control checks.
- Support review platform administration and troubleshooting, with a focus on RelativityOne.
- Prepare productions and disclosures in accordance with agreed formats and timelines.
- Offer creative and practical solutions to technical or workflow challenges.
- Maintain transparent and proactive communication with project managers, legal teams, and clients throughout the process.
- Service Development
- Help refine and improve eDiscovery workflows, documentation, and best practices.
- Provide knowledge-sharing and informal training to promote awareness of eDiscovery capabilities.
- Contribute to the evolution of processes and tools to meet emerging requirements.
- Minimum 1 year's practical experience in an eDiscovery role.
- Strong working knowledge of RelativityOne.
- Hands-on experience with data scoping and collection processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) accreditation.
- SQL scripting experience.
- Degree in Computer Forensics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Other relevant industry certifications.
