Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key national clients. Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts. Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Account Strategy Development: Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business goals, challenges, and industry trends. Create, present and implement strategic account plans to achieve client and organisational objectives. Identify opportunities for New Business accounts (20% of role focusing on New Business), and upselling and cross-selling additional products or services into existing accounts.
- Revenue Growth: Drive account growth by identifying and pursuing new revenue streams. Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the organisation.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (e.g. sales, marketing, supply chain, product development, customer support) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions. Communicate client needs and feedback to relevant departments.
- Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate weekly sales reporting data. Identifying underperformance and implement corrective actions. Use data analytics to track account performance, develop actionable insights and support customers. Prepare detailed reports on account status, forecasts, and performance metrics for internal.
