The role: This is an exciting opportunity to create, lead and shape what UX/UI design looks like at Evolution Funding across processes, tooling and people. As a Senior Designer you’ll be at the forefront of transformation in the organisation working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to shape our UX team, practices and wider business culture. You’ll be joining our User Experience team in its infancy, working hand in hand with the head of UX to create strong foundations and drive forward the growth of design throughout the organization.
Key responsibilities & activities:
- End-to-end design ownership - taking ownership of design projects from discovery through ideation, prototyping, user testing, visual design, hand-off, and iteration post-launch.
- Work across our constantly growing and changing product and service ecosystem, with diverse types of users, platforms and technologies.
- Work side by side with the Head of User Experience to conceptualise and deliver great products and experiences across a range of audiences and contexts.
- Day to day work closely with our product, engineering, and wider stakeholders to drive design decisions, maturity and level up our shared approach to delivering market leading experiences.
In order to apply you will need to demonstrate the following skills & experience:
- Extensive experience within a UX/UI design position with hands-on experience of industry design tools (Figma, Axure RP, Adobe creative suite) and leading & delivering design projects across all stages of the design process.
- Able to plan, conduct, analyse and effectively communicate research and user testing findings to a diverse audience.
- Able to create and contribute to design libraries and systems in collaboration with design and engineering teams to mature, grow and drive adoption.
- Experience in creating a range of design artefacts that effectively communicate key information across the end-to-end design process, such as journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Define, implement, improve and champion design process and standards to deliver products and services that are accessible and meet and exceed user needs.
- Able to grow a strong culture of human-centred design and understanding of UX processes, ROI and benefits.
