Salary Guide: c£60,000 – c£70,000 dependant on experience
Contract Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

The role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the major motor and finance brands in the industry where you will lead a value stream to deliver key strategic product activities championing collaboration with the wider business to enable realisation of the overall product vision.
Reporting to a newly created Head of Product role, you will be working collaboratively with other Lead POs to take ownership of a value stream. You will be building brilliant customer experiences through inspiring innovation, implementing industry best practices & ways of working and ensuring successful delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a value stream, gain exposure at all levels across the business and play a key part in the future success of the Product team and the business overall as we continue to evolve.
We are looking for a lead product owner with a passion for product development. The ideal person will have experience of owning and driving product strategy with end-to-end product delivery at a senior level. They’ll have a strategic approach and be able to align the product strategy and key deliverables with Evolution Funding’ overall business vision.
The Lead PO role will also have direct people management responsibilities for one or more POs and is responsible for setting objectives, performance management and reporting on KPIs for their value stream.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and own the product strategy and roadmap for key business priorities.
- Enable close cross functional collaboration to develop and maintain appropriate project plans aligned with the Business Technology roadmap.
- Future sprint planning based on business benefit and prioritisation.
- Take accountability for the product backlog by creating, prioritising and clearly communicating initiatives, epics, user stories & acceptance criteria to deliver the product roadmap.
- Ensure accuracy of the issues and statuses within Jira to ensure a clear picture is always visible.
- Be a Product Champion – drive engagement across the business improving visibility, understanding and support of Product Team activities.
In order to apply you will need the following skills, experience & attributes:
- Demonstrable experience of leading product owners to build and deliver complex products.
- Able to manage oversight of multiple products within a given workstream.
- Able to articulate the benefits of the product vision and engage a wide range of business stakeholders.
- Able to write detailed, clear user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
- A change agent – able to implement positive change to the ‘status quo’ gaining support for new initiatives and ways of working.
- Have previously used Jira and/or product road mapping tooling e.g. AHA!
