Evolution Foods & Natural Selection Foods produce a variety of healthy snacking products, including dried fruit, nuts, peanut butter, and children's puree fruit snacks. Established in the early 00s, the business has grown significantly, employing 300 staff across three manufacturing and processing sites all based in Telford. Customers include Aldi, Lidl, M&S, Co-Op, and Home Bargains.
The Role
We are currently recruiting a driven ER Advisor to join our team. Reporting into the HR Director, you will be the main contact for both managers and employees across all sites, to ensure minimal risk to the business. In the absence of the HR Director, you will provide additional support as and when needed.
Work closely with the HRD to continually improve internal practices to cover:
- Retention
- Well-being
- Performance management
- Succession planning
Duties Include:
- Conduct all types of Investigations
- Interviewing employees and witnesses
- Collating and reviewing all evidence
- Alongside investigation manager, heavily involved in writing investigation reports
- Managing Disciplinary & Grievance Cases
- Advising/Assisting Managers with formal processes ensuring following correct process
- Invite and outcome letters
- Absence Management
- Running reports from HR System
- Provide HR System Support
- Involvement with Formal Attendance Meetings
- Support managers with employee long-term sickness
- Providing employee referral information to Occupational Health, as and when needed
- Support Manager and employee with reasonable adjustments/gradual phase returns
- Review and update all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
- Co-ordinate and assist high-level recruitment
- Run various HR Reports and relay to HRD
- Involvement in Company Culture Values
- Point of contact for Maternity, Paternity & Adoption Requests
- Conduct Exit Interviews
- Assist HR Co-Ordinator and Administrator as and when needed
Working Hours:
Part-Time would be on a 22.5 hours per week. Flexible working, can choose start and finish time. Will be expected to provide occasional support for night shift.
