Responsibilities
- Support the development of a growth strategy focused on customer satisfaction and commercial opportunity
- Assist in researching new markets, customer needs, and potential business leads
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company's products and services, providing clear information and understanding of customer objectives
- Support the preparation of quotes, proposals, and sales documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and relevant documentation
- Provide helpful, reliable feedback and after‑sales support to clients
- Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers
- Assist in developing new clients into long‑term accounts
- Contribute to realistic sales forecasts and updates for the Management Team
Requirements
- Experience in sales, customer service, or a commercially focused role within the security industry is essential
- Comfortable working independently at times, with support and guidance from the Area Sales Manager
- A positive, confident, and hard‑working attitude, with the drive to learn and exceed goals
- Basic proficiency in MS Office; willingness to learn CRM and quoting software
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Good organisational skills, including time management and planning
- A willingness to develop commercial awareness and industry knowledge through training and hands‑on experience
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide clear, helpful advice
