Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a growth strategy focused on customer satisfaction and commercial opportunity
  • Assist in researching new markets, customer needs, and potential business leads
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company's products and services, providing clear information and understanding of customer objectives
  • Support the preparation of quotes, proposals, and sales documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and relevant documentation
  • Provide helpful, reliable feedback and after‑sales support to clients
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers
  • Assist in developing new clients into long‑term accounts
  • Contribute to realistic sales forecasts and updates for the Management Team

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, customer service, or a commercially focused role within the security industry is essential
  • Comfortable working independently at times, with support and guidance from the Area Sales Manager
  • A positive, confident, and hard‑working attitude, with the drive to learn and exceed goals
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office; willingness to learn CRM and quoting software
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Good organisational skills, including time management and planning
  • A willingness to develop commercial awareness and industry knowledge through training and hands‑on experience
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide clear, helpful advice
