Job Summary
We are looking for dedicated, hard working semi-skilled operative who is a team player and looking to join a thriving business that is continuously looking to improve and values its employees as its greatest asset. Opportunities include training alongside experienced team members to gain skills and knowledge of our manufacturing processes to ensure strict quality parameters and maintained whilst allowing us to develop and enhance our team.
The ideal candidate must have good previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preverbally wood related industry.
Responsibilities
- Sanding, burnishing, filling and working of wood in preparation for painting.
- Using hand / power tools and wood prepping equipment
- Some lifting and manual handling
Experience
- Semi-skilled working in a production environment
- Previous experience working with machines and equipment in a wood production environment is advantageous
Safety
- Follow company H & S procedures
- Wearing of supplied PPE for specific tasks
- Manage housekeeping in area ensuring it\’s a safe place to work
Quality
- Right first-time approach
- Follow companies\’ quality standards and report any defects
