We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our growing team, working locally across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. You will deliver a mix of electrical maintenance, upgrades, and installs across social housing and public buildings, with long term, stable workloads through multi-year contracts, typically 3 to 7 years.
What you’ll be doing:
- Electrical maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and upgrades in occupied and void properties
- Kitchen and bathroom electrical installs, upgrades, alterations
- Full void rewires
- Lighting upgrades, internal and external
- EICR remedials where required
- Works in schools and public buildings, plus other community sites as needed
- Completing job records digitally, including photos and certification paperwork
Must haves:
- ECS Installation Electrician Gold Card, or eligible to obtain
- Recognised electrician route, typically NVQ Level 3, plus AM2, AM2E
- 18th Edition (BS 7671) as part of your recognised route
- Full UK driving licence
- A professional approach, tidy work, good communication, comfortable working in customers' homes
- Inspection and Testing, advantageous not required
- Inspection and testing experience or qualifications, for example City and Guilds 2391 52 or equivalent, is advantageous but not essential. You must be willing to complete inspection and testing training after probation; Evolution will support and fully fund your training so you can upskill and achieve the qualification.
