Evolito's mission is to accelerate the adoption of electric propulsion in aerospace applications in support of a net-zero world. We will help to revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free air transportation. Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation. As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets. The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months.
As part of our current high‑growth phase, we are seeking a Junior IT Support Technician to join our IT Team to provide hands-on maintenance and implementation of IT hardware and software, as well as provide technical support to employees on a wide range of issues.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing hands-on technical support to over 200 users in our Bicester offices
- Maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, software, and networks
- Providing support with Windows stack, Win 11, Azure, Office 365
- Providing guidance to employees on the use of IT systems
- Ensuring good cybersecurity principles are implemented
- Participating in IT projects and providing input on technical solutions.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience providing hands-on IT support, both software and hardware
- Great problem-solving skills coupled with a good analytical approach
- A good communicator and a service-oriented approach
- Motivated to learn and develop new skills, with a positive and energetic approach
- Ability to thrive in a small team with minimum supervision
- Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- A flexible approach to work.
