We will help to revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free air transportation. Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation. As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets. The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months.
As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Finance Intern to work within our dynamic Finance team, supporting day-to-day operations and learning core accounting processes, while working on purchase ledger activities and providing support to the Management Accountant.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assist the finance team in the preparation and completion of the year end audit
- Assist the management accountant in month end accounts preparation, preparing month end journals ready for posting
- Assist the management accountant in Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Processing supplier invoices, answering supplier queries, and reconciling supplier statements
- Data analysis and presentation preparation for Programme Progress Reporting
- Support the Financial Controller and Director of Finance in the preparation of the annual budget and rolling reforecasts.
Skills and experience required:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work proactively under own initiative
- Ability to work well under pressure
- A flexible approach to work.
