Responsibilities
- Carry out supplier assessments to approve and onboard new suppliers in accordance with the SQRM (Supplier Quality Requirements Manual) and regulations, both in the UK and overseas.
- Prepare Supplier Quality Plans where required to manage gaps identified in the SQRM.
- Review and approve supplier APQP, PPAP and FAIR/LAIR submissions to international standards.
- Work within the Supply Chain team to support new and preferred supplier selection aligned with the commodity strategy for product lines.
- Communicate, implement, and maintain ongoing governance of the SQRM with Evolito’s suppliers.
- Support supplier development activities to achieve year‑on‑year supplier QCD improvements.
- Implement and continuously enhance robust processes for supplier management and development.
- Establish and manage supplier scorecards that monitor quality, delivery, and commercial performance.
- Lead reactive supplier improvement programs when supplier performance fails to meet targets.
- Support the supplier audit schedule, conduct supplier audits, and manage corrective action requests.
- Manage supplier product non‑conformance actions, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions in a timely manner.
- Act as primary contact for supplier deviation requests.
- Support supplier work‑transfer activities as required.
- Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of systems and processes to comply with the Evolito Business Management Systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an aerospace or highly regulated supply‑chain quality environment.
- Knowledge of CAA regulations Part21G and Part21J.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and process auditing; experience leading AS9100 audits preferable.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within the aerospace sector.
- Experience with Quality Improvement programs (Pareto, PFMEA, 5S, 6Sigma, etc.).
- Experience with external audits and delivering audit reports to a high written standard.
- Experience with APQP tools and techniques; familiarity with AS9145 preferred.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, process capability, and problem‑resolution tools (8D, 5‑Why, 6Sigma).
- Experience working within a Prime or Tier1 environment preferred.
- Positive team player with initiative and ability to work under pressure while managing conflicting demands against tight deadlines.
- Capacity to work at pace in a multi‑project environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel worldwide.
