We are seeking a professional and reliable HGV CLASS 1 Lorry Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties
- Operate lorries in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards, including compliance with road traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must hold driver CPC.
- Must hold HGV class 1 licence.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
- Excellent time‑management skills.
