We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Risk Manager to play a key role in the continued maturity of evoke's Enterprise Risk Management capability. Working across the Group, this role will partner with senior stakeholders to design, implement and embed risk management practices that strengthen governance, improve decision-making and support the safe delivery of strategic objectives.
In this role you will lead the development of enterprise risk management artefacts, methodologies and processes, helping to embed a consistent approach to risk identification, assessment, control management and assurance across the organisation. Acting as a trusted second line partner, you'll provide robust oversight and constructive challenge while supporting the first line to build sustainable risk management capability. You’ll also lead the continued evolution of the Group's risk management tooling, reporting and governance, ensuring risk information provides meaningful insight to Executive Management and the Board.
What you will be doing:
- Leading the development, implementation and continuous enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
- Driving enterprise-wide risk governance by providing independent second line oversight, challenge and support across key business activities and governance forums.
- Designing and embedding risk management frameworks, methodologies and standards, including RCSAs, Risk Registers, Control Registers, KRIs and control testing programmes.
- Strengthening risk ownership, accountability and operational resilience by partnering with business leaders and promoting consistent risk management practices across the Group.
- Implementing and enhancing the Group Risk Management Information System (RMIS), improving risk data quality, reporting and management information.
- Analysing enterprise risk information to identify emerging risks, systemic issues, control weaknesses and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Developing risk culture and organisational capability through coaching, training, awareness programmes and first line engagement initiatives.
- Leading assurance and remediation activities while fostering strong relationships with Internal Audit, Compliance and stakeholders, and developing a high-performing Enterprise Risk team.
Who we are looking for:
- Advanced experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk or Internal Controls within a complex, regulated environment, and a sound understanding of Three Lines of Defence (3LoD) principles and governance frameworks.
- Proven experience designing and implementing Enterprise Risk Management frameworks, governance arrangements and risk management tools, including RCSAs, Risk Registers, Control Frameworks, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS).
- Experience solving problems, you can lead control effectiveness testing programmes, analyse complex risk information and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- A track record of driving change, building strong stakeholder relationships and developing high-performing teams, supported by excellent communication, presentation and people management skills.
