The People Operations team at evoke brings together Payroll, People Services, and Employee Relations to support colleagues throughout the employee lifecycle. We’re looking for a People Services Team Leader to help lead a fast‑paced, high‑volume HR administration team, delivering an outstanding employee experience through efficient processes, expert support, and continuous improvement.
Working alongside another Team Leader, you’ll oversee a small People Services team managing approximately 2,000 tickets and 250 calls per month, while helping drive operational excellence, compliance, and innovation across our People Services function.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and support a People Services team delivering high‑quality HR administration and employee lifecycle support
- Plan and allocate team workloads to ensure delivery against SLAs, deadlines, and business priorities
- Oversee query management, employee records, document production, and data accuracy in line with compliance requirements including GDPR
- Manage UK Sponsorship activity and ensure ongoing compliance with Employment to Work (ETW) checks
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance employee experience, increase efficiency, and reduce query volumes
- Provide expert guidance and support to employees, managers, and key stakeholders on People processes and policies
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and systems across PeopleHub (Zendesk) and PeoplePortal (SAP SuccessFactors), including AI‑driven solutions
- Coach and develop team members, building capability, engagement, and a strong customer‑service culture
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience working in a high‑volume HR administration, shared services, or People Services environment, ideally using Zendesk and/or SAP SuccessFactors
- Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels, including senior leadership
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment
- Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills, with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
