An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cloud Engineer (3-6 Month Fixed Term Contract) with a focus on AI to join a newly established team at Evoke.
In this role, you will help build, operate, and continuously evolve Evoke’s AI platforms within one of the fastest-moving areas of modern technology.
You’ll play a key role in delivering robust, scalable core services and infrastructure that support Machine Learning and Agentic AI solutions across the business.
You’ll be joining a newly formed team of engineers focused on building, maintaining, and evolving Evoke’s next-generation AI platforms, including our Machine Learning and Agentic AI cores.
As part of the wider Cloud team, you’ll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary group of engineers, working primarily with AWS technologies and third-party integrations to deliver an AI platform designed for an ambitious and innovative future.
- Working closely with platform, cloud, and engineering teams, you will be responsible for:
- What you will be doing;
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining cloud-native software and services across AWS and third-party integrations
- Building and improving the core infrastructure that powers Evoke’s AI and Machine Learning platforms
- Developing expertise in AWS AI technologies, including services such as Amazon Bedrock and Sage Maker
- Providing technical support and operational ownership for Evoke’s core AI platforms and services
- Contributing to platform reliability, observability, automation, and operational excellence
- Participating in an on-call support rota to help provide 24/7 platform support
Who We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar Cloud, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering role
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud technologies, including AI and Machine Learning services such as Amazon Bedrock and Sage Maker
- Solid understanding of Agentic AI concepts and supporting technologies, including platforms such as AWS Agent Core
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Infrastructure as a Code
- Experience designing, operating, and supporting cloud-native platforms and distributed systems
