Join our team as an administration officer, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and Safeguarding Leads have the support they need to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the SENCO and Safeguarding Leads.
  • Manage correspondence, including typing, answering inquiries, sending letters, and preparing reports for parents and external agencies.
  • Liaise effectively with parents, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of SEND Review paperwork.
  • Attend and take minutes at Annual Reviews and other key meetings.
  • Maintain and update SEND registers and safeguarding records.
  • Organise appointments, meetings, and departmental supplies.
  • Assist with displays, Open Evenings, Tours, and Taster Days.
  • Manage safeguarding files and student records with discretion.

About You:

  • Strong administration experience, excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office and internet), and outstanding verbal and written communication.
  • Previous experience in a school setting and knowledge of SIMS database.
  • A proactive, organized individual who can prioritize workloads and remain calm under pressure.
  • Someone with a team-oriented mindset who can interact professionally with staff, parents, students, and external agencies.
