Evoke Staffing are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join an established client based in Swindon. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
