CAD/CAM Programmer, Setter & Operator Location: Swindon Contract Type: Full-time permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Salary:  £45 - £55k DOE Join a Growing Precision Engineering Business An established and expanding precision engineering company is seeking an experienced and motivated CAD/CAM Programmer, Setter & Operator to join its skilled manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-precision machined components for a diverse customer base. The Role Programming 5-axis CNC machines using hyperMILL CAD/CAM software Setting and operating CNC machinery Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications Selecting appropriate tooling and machining strategies Producing precision components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards Carrying out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks Troubleshooting machining issues and implementing process improvements Optimising machining processes and cycle times Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment Candidate Requirements Previous experience in a CAD/CAM programming role Strong CNC setting and operating experience The ability to read and understand engineering drawings Good knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality The ability to work independently and as part of a team A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude What's on Offer Competitive salary, dependent on experience Company Pension Annual Leave Overtime opportunities Friendly and supportive working environment Long-term career prospects and job stability Opportunity to contribute to a growing business Ongoing training and professional development
