The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineer to join a successful food manufacturing business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As part of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of production equipment while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site. You will work closely with Production, Quality, and Health Safety teams to support operational excellence and maintain the highest standards of food safety and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on production machinery and site equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation-related faults to minimise downtime.
- Develop and support maintenance schedules to maximise equipment performance and reliability.
- Monitor and maintain automated production and control systems.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with Health Safety, Food Safety, and Quality Management standards.
- Conduct safety inspections and identify opportunities to improve safety and efficiency.
