In this position, you will be responsible for operating large flatbed trucks to transport goods efficiently and safely across various routes.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV 1 flatbed trucks to deliver goods to multiple destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards
- Load and secure cargo on flatbed trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening for safe transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues on the road
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle inspections in accordance with company policies
- Uphold a professional demeanour when interacting with clients, customers, and team members during deliveries
Experience
- Proven commercial driving experience, preferably as a delivery driver or HGV driver with a focus on flatbed operations
