The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong background in Mechanical Engineering complemented by manufacturing design skills and expertise. Your knowledge and experience when working with various materials will be greatly appreciated, with proven expertise in SolidWorks/CAD and a passion for developing and designing sustainable and environmentally friendly product solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for all NPD (New Product Development).
- Working from initial product conception through to completion and in collaboration with manufacturing, purchasing, and solution teams.
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks/CAD.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Conduct simulations and analysis to validate NPD designs.
- Ability to perform geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Create detailed technical drawings and relevant documentation in line with ESG strategies.
- Participate in prototype development and testing.
- Identify and implement design improvements to enhance product performance and reliability.
- Validate and measure results, defining necessary product improvements to meet customer specifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical manufacturing design.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing design engineering.
- Proven expertise in SolidWorks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) for all communication, reporting, and documentation.
