Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a talented Development Engineer to join an established, dynamic team of engineers and solution architects. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong background in Mechanical Engineering complemented by manufacturing design skills and expertise. Your knowledge and experience when working with various materials will be greatly appreciated, with proven expertise in SolidWorks/CAD and a passion for developing and designing sustainable and environmentally friendly product solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all NPD (New Product Development).
  • Working from initial product conception through to completion and in collaboration with manufacturing, purchasing, and solution teams.
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks/CAD.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
  • Conduct simulations and analysis to validate NPD designs.
  • Ability to perform geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Create detailed technical drawings and relevant documentation in line with ESG strategies.
  • Participate in prototype development and testing.
  • Identify and implement design improvements to enhance product performance and reliability.
  • Validate and measure results, defining necessary product improvements to meet customer specifications.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical manufacturing design.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing design engineering.
  • Proven expertise in SolidWorks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) for all communication, reporting, and documentation.
